Welcome to my site where I’ll be discussing all things writing related.

Currently I’m half-way through editing my first novel, working title ‘Sisters’.  I wrote much of it during RWA’s ’50K in 30 days’ last June, so I’m enjoying the editing process – taking what I wrote under sprint conditions and turning it into something readable.  It’s nice to be pleasantly surprised when I read a scene I haven’t looked at in almost 6 months and think ‘hey, that doesn’t completely stink!’

My plan is to have the first editing process completed by early January.  I’m then going to give it the ‘Margie Lawson Deep Edit treatment’ – I’ve signed up for her Empowering Character’s Emotions course starting in January, with two more to follow in February and March.
