ForgetMeNotBanner2

One week ago, Stacey Nash released her debut YA spec-fic novel, Forget Me Not. Forget-Me-Not is Book 1 in the Collective Series.

Today I’m delighted to bring you the bio one of her main characters, Will. Will is a sweetheart and I’m sure you’ll love him. Stacey is also running a raffle-copter giveaway over on her blog, so go in the draw and also check out where else Stacey will be on her blog tour.

Meet Will. He’s Mae’s best friend, and they’ve lived next door to each other since they were both in grade school. When Mae’s mom disappeared, Will was the one who was there for her; providing comfort, distractions, and sticking up for her at school in the way only a ten-year-old BFF can. His mom even took Mae under her wing and gave her The Talk.

Name: Will Avery

Career: He works part time at his uncle’s garage, but he’s still in the final year of school. He’s thinking about a career in mechanics.

History: Will’s family moved to Mae’s street when he was around ten, before that they lived in the city.

Age:
He’s just turned 18.

Height: Tall. Six-foot, one.

Body Type: He’s of a solid build and he’s toned from lifting all that heavy machinery.

Complexion: Sun-kissed skin.

Eyes: Bright blue

Hair: Blond and a little sun bleached.

Clothing: Will usually wears his favorite pair of old jeans and a tee-shirt. He often looks a little scruffy.

Personality: Strong, loyal, a little bossy, but ultimately kind. He wears his heart on his sleeve.

Prejudices: Anyone who hurts his friends. Will doesn’t much care for trouble makers either.

Best Qualities: He’s fiercely protective of those he cares about and he’s also pretty level headed. He’s the one who grounds the group.

Weaknesses: He follows the rules to a fault – this isn’t always a good trait. Also lead by his heart at times.

Hobbies: Anything to do with mechanics. He’s building up an old car.

Weapon of choice: Will’s not much of a fighter; that is until he comes into contact with the Collective. Then he learns to use all manner of weapons and the mace turns out to be his favourite.

Doesn’t Will sound like a sweetie? Thanks for telling us all about him, Stacey.

ForgetMeNot_1800x2700 (3)Blurb: Since her mother vanished nine years ago, Anamae and her father have shared a quiet life. But when Anamae discovers a brooch identical to her mother’s favorite pendant, she unknowingly invites a slew of trouble into their world. When the brooch and the pendant are worn together they’re no longer pretty pieces of jewelry — they’re part of a highly developed technology capable of cloaking the human form. Triggering the jewelry’s power attracts the attention of a secret society determined to confiscate the device — and silence everyone who is aware of its existence. Anamae knows too much, and now she’s Enemy Number One.

She’s forced to leave her father behind when she’s taken in by a group determined to keep her safe. Here Anamae searches for answers about this hidden world. With her father kidnapped and her own life on the line, Anamae must decide if saving her dad is worth risking her new friends’ lives. No matter what she does, somebody is going to get hurt.
