librarywritingI think there’s a thief of time out there. (Hey that would make a great book title! Damn, Terry Pratchett beat me to it!) Seriously, where does the time go?

It’s been school holidays here, and while I had great plans for all the things I wanted to achieve, I wasn’t quite as productive as I’d hoped. I had a trip to Sydney with the Teen and a couple of trips to Newcastle, but mostly we stayed home and enjoyed the break from activities. Because we homeschool, “back to school” doesn’t quite mean the same to us as most people, but holidays at least give us a break from the regular routine of drama, music and Scouts.

I’ve packed up and headed for the library a couple of times to give me a distraction free space to write (also more importantly, internet free since I don’t hook up to their wifi!)

Things are slowly moving on the Escape front. I now have an editor (yay!) so will be liaising with her as to edit dates etc. It’s starting to feel real!

Reach for the Stars – my Bindarra Creek Romance – will be out on the 15th November. I’ve put it up for pre-order on Amazon, and will add to Smashwords and all the others soon.

And I’ve been busy getting my head back into Hope Creek and writing Belinda’s story. I hope to have it out early next year, all going well.

If you’d like to get a sporadic email whenever I have big news, I’ve added a mailing list sign up on my website. Hopefully it’s far more reliable than Facebook for sharing my news 🙂
